“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.” ~ Brad Henry
Even though every experience life sends our way has something to teach us, and even though every person we come in contact with can become both our student and our teacher, not all of them leave a mark of us. Not all of us have the power to inspire, empower and impact us and our lives in a positive and meaningful way. Not all of them can be remembered as great teachers.
A great teacher has the power to inspire, empower and impact your life in ways you never knew possible. And whether you met this teacher in school, at work, in the books you read or on the street, you will always cherish the valuable lessons they taught us and the many beautiful and meaningful things they shared with you.
Through his many books, lectures and incredible knowledge and wisdom, Wayne Dyer taught me the value and importance of self-love and authenticity. From him, I have learned to always trust my heart and intuition. To go where my heart asks me to go and to trust that by doing so I will create a life that has a purpose, a life that has meaning.
I am who I am today because I had not just one, but two great teachers. Wayne Dyer and Vishen Lakhiani. Two great teachers changed my life.
Through his way of being and through his way of crafting and living his life, Vishen Lakhiani taught me to live in a playful, humble, kind and compassionate way. To believe in myself and all that I am, to embrace my authenticity and to trust that all things are possible to those who believe.
I am thankful to my two greatest teachers!
