Just as there are people who fill our lives with Love, Beauty, Light, Joy, Peace, and Laughter, there are also places who can do the exact same thing., and for me, Assisi, Italy is one of those places.

I don’t know if you’ve ever paid a visit to Assisi, but there is something about this place that I have never felt anywhere else. And I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Clare lived in that place. Not sure if you know their story, but they both lived their lives from a place of pure Love and Peace. And as you walk through the streets of Assisi, you can feel the Peace and Love they left behind. 

There is a purity that’s out of this world in Assisi, and as you walk through the streets, you can feel the sacredness of everything and everyone you come in contact with. You can feel the sacredness of the trees, the earth, the birds, the wind, the sun… You can feel the sacredness of those around you. And even your own, which is such a miraculous and overwhelming feeling. 

I felt like crying so many times while I was there and that’s because I felt how every cell in my body was being overflowed with Love, Peace, and Joy. And at times it felt like too much handle. So I just felt like bursting into tears… It was incredible… 

Assisi for me is the most miraculous and sacred place I have ever been to. And all the time I was there, I felt as if I was in the presence of God, of St. Francis and of St. Clare. And I hope, through these stunning photos of Assis, that you will feel some of that Love, Peace, and Joy as well. And I hope they will inspire to visit Assisi, Italy one day. It will be worth it 🙂
