To love yourself is beautiful. To love others is incredible. But to love God, that is Divine.

12 Ways to Know God, According to Dr. Wayne Dyer

1. Longing: Know God Through Longing

“Have the same longing and thirst for union with God  as one who has been lying for days in the hot sun of the Sahara experiencing the longing for water, then you will realize God.”

2. Peace of Mind

“If you have the peace of a frozen lake, then, you too will realize God.”

3. Humility: Know God Through Humility

“Have the humility of the earth which can be molded into any shape, then you will know God.”

4. Desperation

“If you experience the desperation that causes a man to commit suicide and you feel that you can’t live without seeing God, then you will see God.”

5. Faith: Know God Through Faith

“Have the complete faith that allows one to believe it was night – even though it was day, because his Master said so, then you will know God.”

6. Fidelity

 “Have the fidelity that the breath has in giving you company, even without you constantly feeling it, till the end of your life, that both in happiness and in suffering gives you company and never turns against you, then you will know God.”

And these are the 12 ways in which we can all realize the God in us. The first 3 resonated with me the most and I feel how I am constantly working on all 12 of them, which of course is not always easy, but it is worth it.
