How To Deal With Anger and Find Peace

There are healthy ways to deal with anger. No need to let it poison you and your whole life…

How To Deal With Anger and Find Peace

Well, you and I know that we don’t live in a perfect world, where the sky is always blue, the sky is always shining and the birds are always singing. There are times when, because we gather so much frustration, so much tension, and so much stress, we become like a bomb who is ready to explode, and unfortunately, eventually we do just that.

We explode!

We get so mad, so angry, and we eventually explode, hurting others people’s feeling and hurting ourselves also.

How To Deal With Anger and Find Peace

It’s only human to get upset, to get mad, to be sad, but we have to have balance. If you stay for too long in these states, they will eventually take over your mind, body, and health.

If you allow these emotions to take over you, to take over your life, they will eventually control you, and you will then be at their mercy – at the mercy of your feelings and emotions, at the mercy of your moods – and the one in charge of your life will no longer be You, but Them. The ones in charge of your life and your well-being will be your moods, your emotions, and your feelings

You have to learn how to work with these emotions, and I am here to help you on this journey and help make your life a little easier, a little happier, a little better.

Whenever you feel like there is too much on your plate; whenever you feel like you simply can’t take it anymore; whenever you feel like you have gathered too much anger and frustration, and that you are ready to explode, take some time off from whatever it is that you are doing, and give yourself 5, 10 minutes to detoxify yourself, to clear your mind.

If you won’t do this, and if you choose to go ahead and let all that anger out, you will say, and you will do things that you will later regret. You will end up hurting other people and you will also end up hurting yourself, and I can tell you this from my own experience.

On the other hand, you might be one of those people who choose to suppress everything, and you will suppress and suppress, but in the end, you too will explode, within and without, so it is better to give yourself some time to observe yourself, your thoughts and your feelings, and try to understand what is it that really bothers you so much, and choose to do something about it. You are the one in control, it’s always up to you.

Your happiness and your unhappiness are just choices you make.

Another thing you can always do is to write an angry letter to the people that angered you, without sending them – that will also help release a lot of the tension and forgive what needs to be forgiven.

Just look how powerful these words of Louis L’Amour are:

Anger is a killing thing: it kills the man who angers, for each rage leaves him less than he had been before – it takes something from him.

It takes something from him… How true is that?

How To Deal With Anger and Find Peace

Whenever you feel like anger is coming to get you, try acknowledging that you have a problem, and you will also want to change the word “problem” with “challenge”. Acknowledge that there is a challenging situation you need to face, and do just that, face it, in a way or another.

If you need to speak out, speak out, but do it in a civilized manner, without hurting other people’s feeling and without hurting yourself. Always remember to disagree without being disagreeable.

Choose to respond instead of reacting. When you respond, you take the time to think things through. You have the stimulus, that which is causing stress, you have the space where you analyze and you observe what is happening, and then you have your response, which is always constructive, while on the other hand, when you choose to react, you only have the stimulus and the reaction, and that’s when things get messy, and a lot of negativity is being built.

Negativity can only feed with negativity, anger can only feed with more anger. When you choose to step back from the dark, things will change for you, and you will find inner peace.

Your relationships will improve, you will be happier, you will find peace. You will go back to being true to yourself, you will get back to being you. You will get back to serenity.
