Eckhart Tolle Speaks on Acceptance and Surrender

“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? what could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

Whenever I feel that my mind starts to make a lot of noise, aggressively resisting what is and doing it’s best to escape the present moment, I go back to either reading The Power of Now or to listening to Eckhart Tolle speak on acceptance and surrender.

There’s something about his words that calm me down, and whenever I read his book or listen to him speak, I immediately return to a place of stillness, of inner peace and tranquility. My mind becomes quiet once again and I can go back to living my life in a beautiful, loving and harmonious way.

In this video, Eckhart Tolle talks about the importance of acceptance and surrender, helping you get to a place where you embrace the present moment as it is. Not because you no longer care about yourself or your life, but because you understand that by accepting and surrendering to what is, you find peace of mind. And from that peaceful state, you can make better decisions and create a better life for yourself.

Enjoy 🙂
