How to Fall Back in Love with Life

“Have the courage to fall back in love with life, and life will fall back in love with you.” ~ Luminita D. Saviuc

In Love with Life

What if you could fall back in love with life and live each day in wonder, awe and bliss? What if you could wake up each morning and look forward to the day ahead knowing that great things are in store for you? Well, you actually can. And today’s post is meant to help you take the necessary steps that will move you in the right direction so that you can slowly but surely fall back in love with life, and yourself.

How to Fall Back in Love with Life

1. Make a bold choice

That you will never again look back to the past for proof of why things can’t and won’t work for you; that you will never again allow the stories of your past to define and limit you. And that from now on, you will be the one who will decide the direction of your life and how your life-story will unfold.

“Do you know what is the hardest thing in life? To make a choice.” ~ Honore de Balzac

2. Die to the past

And all those gloomy stories you’ve been telling yourself for years. Die to the pain, the despair, the trauma and all the drama. Die to the past and the person you once used to be. Untie the knots of anger, regret, self-pity and resentment. And let yourself fall back in love with life all over again.

3. Cease being interested in the drama

Give not a listening ear to that which is only meant to put others down, for their struggles and shortcomings. Don’t waste your time in vain. Cease being interested in the drama, and drama will cease being interested in you.

4. Mind your own business

Get clear on who you are and how you want your life to unfold. And forget about what others are doing. What others do, or don’t do, that is their business. What you do, or don’t do, that is your own. Make sure to always tend to your own business.

5. Make your thoughts as beautiful as you want your life to be

“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think on these things.” ~ Philippians 4:8

Center your thoughts on that which is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. And then put it all into practice. For as you think, so shall you be. And as you love, so will life love you.

6. Don’t bother just to be better than others

Be better than your old self… better than you used to be. “Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.” (William Faulkner)

7. Start a foolish project

“… like Noah…it makes absolutely no difference what people think of you.” (Rumi) And let this project be about you falling back in love with life. About you being so happy, blissful, loving and free, that you will never again go back to living a life that is anything less than that.

8. Don’t ask the world for permission

Whether to take a chance, and fall back in love with life… or not. Just go out there and have fun creating a wildly happy life.

9. Give no power to your doubts

For “When you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt.” ~ Honore de Balzac

10. Forget about what ‘they’ think, and say of you…

That doesn’t really matter. It’s what you think, and say to yourself that truly does.

“One day a long time from now you’ll cease to care anymore whom you please or what anybody has to say about you. That’s when you’ll finally produce the work you’re capable of.” ~ J. D. Salinger

How to Fall Back in Love with Life 12 Powerful Ways to Change Your Life Through the Art of Self Mastery

11. Get clear on your Dreams and Life Vision

Be less concerned with what was, and is. And more in love with what could be, and truly is. Because “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” (Albert Einstein)

12. Make your future dream a present fact

Because “All transformation begins with an intense, burning desire to be transformed. You must want to be different and intend to be before you can begin to change yourself.

Then you MUST MAKE YOUR FUTURE DREAM A PRESENT FACT.

You do this by assuming the feeling of your wish fulfilled. By desiring to be other than what you are, you can create an ideal of the person you want to be and assume that you are already that person. If this assumption is persisted in until it becomes your dominant feeling, the attainment of your ideal is inevitable.” (Neville Goddard)

13. Judge not by the evidence of your senses

Close your eyes to the evidence of your senses and live each day with great confidence, walking by faith, no longer by sight. And trusting only in that which cannot be seen.

14. Familiarize yourself with the Great Unknown

That lives, moves and has its being within your own Being. That breathes the same air you breathe and walks the same path you walk. That loves you more than you could ever love yourself and that is always waiting for you to acknowledge its Presence and surrender all your fears to it.

15. Ask more from you Self and less from others

Silence is a precious gift we give to ourselves. In that space between our words, not only do we find ourselves, but we can also hear our own heart, soul and intuition talking to us..” ~ Luminita D. Saviuc
